Made famous by its motorsport prowess and by Hollywood stars such as Steve McQueen and Sharon Tate, the commercial success of the first 911 was such that, 60 years later, it continues to be one of the most sought after classics. With an iconic design and an almost modern driving dynamic, this is a collector's item that is a pleasure to drive!
The S version of the 911 'Urmodell' was the top of the range in 1969 and combined the best of what was done in the 60s. With a 2. 0l 6-cylinder boxer engine and mechanical injection, the 911 S delivers 170 PS – enough power to dispatche the 100 km/ h sprint in just 8 seconds and to exceed 220 km/ h top speed!
Behind the beautiful Fuchs alloy wheels are ventilated disc brakes and the well-tuned chassis makes cornering not only efficient, but also a lot of fun.
This superb Porsche 911 S Targa was purchased from the well-known Porsche dealership Sonauto, in France, in April 1969. It arrived in Portugal in 1982 and recently underwent a total restoration (nut & bolt) at the renowned company SportClasse, in Lisbon.
It has the fantastic Recaro seats as an extra and is a 100% Matching Numbers. Comes with Kardex, Certificate of Historical Interest and the entire restoration process documented.
