Porsche 914 2.0 – June 1975
The 1960s were running and Porsche and Volkswagen decided to invest in a joint venture with the aim of filling a gap in the market and expanding the range of products on offer. Thus was born the vision of a sports car with modern technology, innovative and affordable design.
The result was the 914 – commonly known as “VolksPorsche”, a 2-seater targa, practical, agile, fun to drive, with humble but very respectable performance.
Even if it wasn't a 911, the possibility of having a Porsche for practically half the price of the cheaper 911 was now real and made many people's dream of being able to drive a car from this German brand possible. With close to 120,000 units sold, it was the best-selling Porsche model of its time.
The “VolksPorsche” that we have here is of national origin and is very well maintained. The silver gray “Silbermetallic L96D” is very well preserved with total absence of rot or rust on the entire bodywork.
Its history is worthy of a collector's car, the rims have been repaired and are like new, the engine and gearbox "matching numbers" and the Bosch D-Jetronic injection system is working perfectly.
It is available for viewing at our facilities.
