Seller's comments about 1936' Singer Nine Le Mans

The Singer Le Mans is a vintage British sports car produced between 1933 and 1935. Created to celebrate the marque's class success at the 1933 24 Hours of Le Mans, it features a tuned overhead-cam engine, twin carburetors, and an iconic lightweight, underslung two-seat chassisThis Singer Le Mans Special was first registered in Northampton in April 1936, recently the car has spent some time in East Sussex. The engine starts and runs very well, it is fitted with the slightly larger 1100cc Singer 9 engine and thanks to a twin carburettor set up it goes and sounds great. The drive train is in good order with no nasty noises, the clutch and gears are easy to use and it genuinely is a pleasure. It handles well, has hydraulic brakes and good tyres all round. The aluminium body is in good order, it was completely rebuilt during the restoration and is as good as the day it was done. The interior is minimal however in good order and comes complete with a full tonneau cover. The paintwork has been finished to a high standard and alright not immaculate it looks great and polishes up nicely.
