“The Tigers, a muscular version of the Sunbeam Alpine, were in part conceived and developed by Carrol Shelby, who had previously done the same with the AC Cobra. Assembled at the Jensen factory, they were only produced between 1964 and 1967. Rare and much desired by collectors, they were fantastic cars at the time. In 1965, Motor Sport magazine completed its Tiger test as follows – no combination of an American V8 and a British chassis could be happier.”
