Finished in royal blue complimented with contrasting brown patinated leather interior. along with a cream worn rangy functional soft top , solid charming as it is . The Triumph Roadster Club states the Roadster was previously registered in the UK and was later exported to the Channel Islands on 27th February 1987, re-registered to Guernsey on 1st March 1989 1989 and returned to UK mainland in c. 2023. Chassis TRD1422 Power is supplied by the 1800cc 1797cc 4-cylinder overhead valve engine modified for OHV operation and production by Harry Westlake, it features some original parts, a Solex down draught carburettor, original ignition, electrics and exhaust system. All in very honest good order, The 79 year-old Crystal Blue coachwork appears to be fairly original solid, patinated aged but charming as it is . if i were to keep this triumph for my self i would use it run it patch the roof were necessary . enjoy just as it is . with very little corrosion, good shut lines and straight. Elsewhere, all of the windows are in good order, the doors open easily, The hood frame is straight and complete. interior is Tobacco leatherette. The original carpet has some wear and fading but should be perfectly useable. Door furniture, chrome winders, handles and locks all function. The dashboard is in good condition and is complete. In the rear, the boot has the spare wheel, both Dickey seats are in good order, appear to have seen little use with what we suggest is the original carpet, side panels etc in good order. The Dickey screen operates as it should and all the metalwork is in original and in good order. All 5 wheels are in good order with the original hub caps and embellishers present. A recent battery holds a good charge and mounted to the scuttle are most of items from the original toolkit. This TR18 Roadster could be used in its original condition quite happily, or with little effort, and a light sympathetic restoration, a likely candidate for County Classic Car Shows and Touring.
