Seller's comments about 1965' Triumph TR4

CBX 32C is a RHD Home Market UK car that was manufactured on the 15th April 1965. The car left the factory in White with Black upholstery and Black hood, disc wheels, occasional rear seat, disc wheels and independent rear suspension. The registration mark CBX 32C is dated to 1st May 1965 and was issued in Carmarthenshire. The number is still with the car today. With five owners recorded for new, this IRS TR4 is being sold as a restoration project. The "IRS model" refers to TR4s produced between 1965–1967, which introduced Independent Rear Suspension as its defining upgrade over the earlier TR4's solid rear axle. This system dramatically improved handling, ride comfort, and traction on uneven roads by allowing each rear wheel to move independently, reducing body roll and wheel hop. It was adapted from the Triumph 2000 saloon's setup, with reinforcements to the TR4A's chassis (including stronger side members and cross-bracing) to accommodate it. The IRS contributed to the TR4s reputation for balanced, engaging dynamics, helping it excel in events like the 1966 Sebring 12 Hours. With exceptional aftermarket support and the advantage of it being an IRS model, this TR4A IRS would make for an exceptional project to take to show standard. At show standard, a TR4 IRS is an exceptionally valuable car that with a great market of enthusiasts.Get in touch for further details or to obtain a quotation for transportation,
