1969' Triumph TR6 Pi

The Triumph TR6 is a sports car built by the British Triumph Motor Company between 1968 and 1976.

The TR6, with its eye-catching and crisp à-la-mode six-styling, was the final flourish in the robust TR true-Brit tradition.

At the launch of the Triumph TR6 in 1969, Autocar declared it "The last of the true sports cars".

And it really was on its own, as there was literally nothing to compare it to in its performance class.

In fact, the most valid comparisons are with its Triumph ancestors, as it was the last in an evolutionary line of instant TRs.

The TR6 evolved along the route of the Michelotti-style TR4 and the TR4A's independent rear suspension, then taking on the short six-liter TR5/TR250 with 2.5-liter smooth fuel injection.
