1956' Volkswagen Beetle

1956 Right hand drive Oval rear window beetle.

Original 1200cc engine still in place and running well - 12volt alternator attached by a bolt on bracket in order to make it a bit more useable, however can be easily removed.

She is a very original looking car although there are for instance holes on the top of the front wings where later indicators have been fitted, I have since had the lights rewired back onto the original system using the semaphores.

I don't drive the car too often now (too many vehicles!) however being tax exempt, mot exempt and cheap to insure its lovely to hop in and drive to a car show. There is rust in the sills and various points of the car so it could also be a restoration project if you are inclined, personally I love the patina too much.

Brakes were refurbished last year and it has been dry stored since.

Wings and running boards have the pressings in the right places and are correct for the vintage.
