Seller's comments about 1956' Willys

ORIGINAL RESTORATION, AUTOMATIC, 4X4, RUST FREE! You couldnt build one this nice for this price! This is one for the books. We wouldnt be selling it if we had room in the garage to keep it. Absolutely gorgeous restoration, over $30K spent ordering parts directly from the manufactures catalog. You dont want to miss this one!
Paint/Body: The body is very straight, all the panels in great condition. No rust anywhere on the body. The only negative thing about this vehicle is the paint. The exterior has some bubbling on the front fenders and on the side panels most likely from humidity getting in the paint when it was restored. We call this one a good 20 footer!
Interior: Beautifully upholstered interior! The carpet, seats, door panels, headliner, floor mats are all in new condition. This beauty even has the back seats which is a pretty big deal! The clutch pedal remained installed to maintain a more original look. All the interior pieces are either original or have been replaced with new chrome from the official catalogs.
>Glass/Windows: All the glass is in great shape. No cracks or shadowing on the glass. The windows roll up and down with ease.
Trunk/Bed: The wood paneling in the back of this wagon is maybe our favorite part. It looks super sharp; done right!
Undercarriage: The underneath of this vehicle is amazing . New dual exhaust. Clean transmission pan. Brand new fuel tank. Original steel fender wells and floor pans in great shape. No rust anywhere to be found!
Wheels/Tires: Brand new original style wheels. Tires are older but like new tread with no dry rot
MECHANICAL
Drivetrain: 3.8 liter Buick 6 cylinder automatic. Fires right up and drives strong down the road. We drove this Willys from Birmingham to South Atlanta with no issues. The automatic transmission shifts through all gears smoothly
Lights/Electrical: The headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals are all functional. The gauges are hooked up and mostly working. The speedometer is a little fast and the gas gauge is not responding.
Brakes: Manual brakes stop straight and strong!
