Comentarios del vendedor sobre 1953' Citroen Traction
I imported this car from its last owner of 25 years last year. He was in tears when the car left having maintained it, driven it and upgraded it during his long ownership. The car has been looked over by a Traction specialist and declared mainly original and where upgraded, done sympathetically.
Amongst the modifications are conversion to 12 V which I am assured is a good thing; and it the bottom end of the engine is from an ID 19 with the more powerful oil pump.
It is a very pretty car and lovely to drive like all TA's. It feels perfectly happy in modern traffic and especially loves twisty bumpy back roads. It is with good reason that this car is labelled "floating power". Designed in the 30's and still very striking today. With a string of firsts: first mass produced unitary body shell and hydraulic brakes, gearbox in front of longitudinal engine etc.
