This is the second Lynx 1953 C-Type Recreation built when Guy Black was still at the helm. It is built to exacting measures and it still retains many of its good original C-Type bits: The steering wheel is original The cam covers are original. It has a 4-speed Moss box with overdrive. This is unusual but has a historical precedent in that Jaguar did build one car like that for the Mille Miglia. It has a correct C type-spec rear axle 3.54:1 with LSD. The clutch is an XK-style single plate type. C type spec wet sump engine with a wide, ribbed C type sump pan and twin 2 inch sand cast SU carbs. These are the carbs used in the original C-Types. The data plate reads LC80/2. 3.4 engine Drum brakes FIA and HTP papers (will have to be renewed) Comes with the original invoice for the car when it was built for its Italian owner in 1980, a Mr. Francesco Sinna.
