We are delighted to bring to the market this truly stunning Multi Show Winning Triumph Roadster 2000. The pride and joy of a husband and wife team, over the last 27 years this car has amassed a shed load of cups and trophies, been featured in many publications and news letters, displayed at NEC classic show, Stoneleigh Triumph day, to name just a few and probably done more for the mark in this country than any other Roadster that I can think of. Many people would delight in saying to me "have you seen that lovely pale green Triumph Roadster" it would have been hard not to. A key player in the Sporting Bears and the Little Grandsden Air Show, the cars owner played a huge contribution to the classic car scene that raised more than £250,000 for children in need. Out almost every weekend at shows up and down the country almost always coming home with another prize, people were always amazed how beautifully it was keep, but then this car was his life and he would never have sold his precious baby even to the substantial offers that were often forthcoming.

The level of detail that has gone into this car since it's total chassis up restoration can only be achieved by an enthusiast who's passion has been classic cars. Being self employed and retired for some years he spent most of his time cleaning, polishing, and maintaining his car to show level. This included ensuring the engine bay was close to concours, ensuring the underside was clean as the paint work, inside the wheel arches keep treated and clean, and whenever something required replacing it was replaced. As a result of his hard work the Triumph could be presented anytime on the show scene and would regularly pick up prizes.

This car has to be seen to be fully appreciated properly. Finished in the correct Triumph Lumina green 'one of the very first metallics in 1949'. The paintwork is Show stoping beautiful, the chrome simply gleams, burgundy leather provides just the right level of finish and the deep gloss of the interior wood is simply breathtaking. More recent is the fitting of the new dark green mohair hood only because it spent most of its time in the open position and had gained a few crease marks. A matching hood cover is also provided as it would have been when the car was new.
We were fortunate and somewhat sad to have been able to purchase this fine car direct from the widow last year, and have had it squirreled away with no hurry to sell. This Roadster has everything in terms of quality, provenance, reliability and wonderful presentation. Any better than this and the car is to good to drive, it really has the perfect combination for showing, road rallies and having weekend fun. Finding a better example that has been loved and cherished like this car could prove incredibly difficult if not impossible to find.
