Commentaires du vendeur sur 1949' Alvis TA14
Alvis TA14 Tickford bodied Three position Drophead Coupe – Registration OPU 438 - engine and chassis number 22302
The TA 14 was the first car produced by Alvis after WW2 and was available as a four door sports saloon by Mulliners of Birmingham or as a stylish two door, three position, drophead coupe built by Tickford or Carbodies.
This vehicle, the more desirable Tickford, is available due to bereavement. It was sold by us to the late vendor in January 2014 with the mileage reading 61389 (it now reads 61811). Prior to that it was owned for 9 years by an active AOC member.
On purchase, the late vendor, embarked upon a series of improvements and maintenance upgrades. These included – pressure testing the head and resurfacing it, fitting a new head gasket, new mohair roof with new lining, refurbished wood trim, new carpet etc etc. All of which are documented within an extensive history file.
The vehicle is in very good condition and is available for inspection at or Worcestershire workshop
