Commentaires du vendeur sur 1937' Austin Ascot
An excellent example of the spacious Austin 12 New Ascot, nicely finished in Ash Grey with complimentary interior. An older restoration, and well maintained ever since, this car is in very good condition with lovely patina, having mainly good paintwork but a few blemishes. The interior is very nice, with original leather seating and renewed headlining, door cards and carpets. The dashboard and door cappings are first class and all the quality period fittings are present, including rear foot rests, arm rests, window blinds to rear and rear side windows, wind-out front window, working sunroof, sun visors, parcel net, semaphores, dual windscreen wipers and integral luggage trunk. Underneath, the car is very sound, as are the floors, and waxoyl has been applied. Recent Avon tyres, new brake linings and stainless steel exhaust. The car starts easily and once warmed up, runs along nicely through its 4-speed gearbox. V5C and continuation log book dating back to 1958. This is a well-known car in club circles and would make a good wedding car or a nice roomy family saloon.
