This great looking Bentley R-Type was sold new by Charles Follett concessionaires of London and was recently treated to a full service in New York, where it was until last year.
We have used it extensively and the 4,5L inline 6 never missed a beat with good brakes and a good shifting transmission.
Body wise it is very presentable with barely any scratches, excellent door gaps, great paintwork with good shine and a nice color combination.
The chromework is a 4/5 with only minor scratches in some places but a beautiful looking radiator grille.
The leather has a nice patina with only light wear.
The woodwork is truly outstanding throughout the cabin.
This Type R is a very good example with strong underpinnings and a very sound bodywork. The mechanicals are perfectly useable and will be fully serviced in our shop prior to the sale.
You can fly into Limoges' airport from most UK cities.
