1934 Invicta 12/45 HP Tourer
Chassis number: L239 Registaration: AXE750
One of only 60 such cars built; this rare Invicta is powered by a 45hp 1.5 Litre 6 cylinder Blackburn engine. The car was built up in the 1980's to its current form by Rendall Hour Time, known for preparing cars for VSCC events. It is known to have competed at Enstone and other venues, as well as touring in France. By 1997, it was in the stewardship of the late Roger Lees of Poole, Dorset, and was then subsequently acquired by the last owner.
The wooden dashboard contains a full set of period instruments. A spare wheel is mounted to the rear of the body. A spare oil can is mounted to the running board. The radiator cap has a splendid running fox mascot affixed to it.
The car is smartly finished in Masons Black paintwork with contrasting red wheels. To the interior is red hide with black carpets. The car runs beautifully & is a sprightly performer. The car has full weather gear consisting of a mohair hood, tonneau cover & a full set of side screens. This is a rare 1930's car & a great alternative to a Lagonda or 3.0 litre Bentley.
