Had plans to restore but only completed the following mechanical work in February 2008:
Test compressions
Installed Engine from 71 Superbeetle
Oil Change
Checked gas heater
Replaced 3 wheel cylinders
Replaced brake master cylinder
Replaced right rear axle seal
Replaced drivers side ball joint
Installed Interstate Battery
Significant body work needs to be completed including frame, fenders, front and rear lids. In addition, the interior needs to be reupholstered and door panels.
This could also be a donor vehicle fro parts.
Odometer reads 25,621 miles. Additional photos available.
