Running in

Purchased from an Estate part restored when owned for approximately 40 years. Shiny nickel bits were mostly absent, presumably being re-plated but never collected. Having contacted all the local plating companies, the present owner resolved to replace them with all-new nickel parts

Re-cored radiator cost £2000 – expensive, due to the shape of these lovely pre-Hurlock brothers AC cars

Everything carefully re-checked and rebuilt since it was not possible to refer to the previous owner's Estate

All new absolutely delightful leather upholstery by Julian Taylor even using original internals

New mohair hood & side screens

Traditionally coachpainted by hand with Craftmaster paint

1496cc Anzani side valve engine as used by Frazer Nash cars just rebuilt at Anzani specialists Nical Engineering - now running in - all crack tested and ceramic sealed block and head

New beaded edge tyres

New running boards made including step

New aluminium armoured wiring

Rear axle standard upgrade just done (steel support inside the differential to the worm & wheel) Three speed gearbox in unit with the worm axle.

Quarter elliptic suspension

Superb example – must be seen - here in the New Forest
