This 1967 Aston Martin DB6 Mk1 Manual (DB6/ 3237/ R) is finished in factory Silver Birch Metallic with Navy Blue leather upholstery, and is accompanied by an extensive history file documenting its ownership, international movements, restoration and mechanical maintenance over several decades.This matching numbers example presents extremely well, with superb bodywork and equally impressive brightwork and chrome wire wheels. Inside, the blue leather upholstery retains an attractive, gently aged character, with a pleasing patina consistent with a classic Aston Martin of this period - giving a contrast between the beautifully presented exterior and the characterful interior which is particularly appealing. The car retains a number of notable features, including power steering, electric windows, chrome wire wheels and a Becker Europa radio.The accompanying documentation file contains approximately 250 pages of supporting material, including original factory-related records, European registration and customs documentation, restoration invoices, specialist maintenance records, historical valuations, ownership correspondence and MOT certificates. This traces the car’s history through the UK, Switzerland and Germany, including its return to the UK in 2004.Original factory records identify the car as having been supplied through H. H. Owen to Arthur Woollacott Ltd, with its original specification including Borg-Warner automatic transmission, power steering and heated rear screen.
