1955' Austin A30

Austin A30 1955 Tax and MOT exempt This is a project I've spent a lot of time and money on, but it's time for Gertie to go.  She has been off the road for about 30 years with three former keepers. I started with the best shell I could find which was then stripped down to bare metal, any rot cut out & repaired and rust protected. As you can see from the pictures she's in super condition with all the hard work done.  She has all MG Midget running gear, with 1275 engine. She has a brand new inch & 3/4 carburettor & inlet manifold (also has twin carbs with it), new tubular steel exhaust manifold, new alloy radiator, brand new alloy fuel tank and pump. She also has brand new Mini Lite wheels 14 x 5.5 with new tyres, MK III Mini converted pedal box with Cooper S master cylinder.  The original wheels with new tyres are also included. She is 95% complete.  Things that need doing mainly are wiring, door handles and catches etc etc.  She still has the original trafficators which was the look I was going for. I also have a K series engine, 40000 miles with fsh, which comes with the car.  It has a complete wiring loom and can be heard running. There are lots of spares included in the sale eg 2 spare axles different ratios, spare doors, suspension parts etc. The number plate was valued at about £650.  I have the original buff log book.
