Comentários do vendedor sobre 1929' Ford

A 1929 Ford rumble seat roadster is not only a very cool and very red street machine, but as you dig a little deeper, you find that this well-documented star example thats been under executive-level care. So while the price already has you interested, its worth reading the whole story that makes this one of the most interesting droptops around. This is absolutely professional quality build, because it needed to be. Author John Thawley wrote a book called How to Build a Repro-Rod, and as it documented the way to create a high-quality fiberglass 29 Ford. This is that car. You even get a copy of the book with the sale. It has Junior Johnson on the cover with his Mountain Dew 11 NASCAR Buick, and that provides another very important connection. This has upgraded Buick power, and so it was the perfect car for Gary Dickinson. He was a General Motors executive who was in the Buick division around the time this was completed. Dickinson was a well-respected engineer in car circles, and his career took him though other performance companies like Lotus and Penske. Dickinson kept the car in his family collection for the rest of his life. So he must have thought it was something special, and its easy to see why. Its a well-done fiberglass body with a glossy red that loves to highlight the soft curve of the fenders. Theres plenty of shine on the two-piece bumpers, headlight bezels, mesh grille protector, step plates, and dual exhaust tips. The red and chrome package even nicely comes together on the steelie wheels with two-piece trim. But what youll really love is the pinstriping. Full-length black stripes end with well-coordinated Grand National badges to give another hint at the Buick power within. Its the kind of car thats a well-done total package, so youll show it off with pride even before you tell everyone this cars unique story. The tan folding roof looks nice against the bright red, but for true distinction youre going to want to go with the top down to show off the red interior. After all, there is just something extra sporty about a red-on-red look. And this one really does do a nice job of impressing with details like the button-top seatback and saddle bags in the doors. Plus, the genuine rumble seat makes you wonder if you should be leading next years July 4th parade. More than just look great, cars like this were built for the driver. Thats why you have a leather-wrapped sports steering wheel on a tilt column. And the dash is dominated by crisp Classic Instruments gauges. Buicks V6 is the kind of hardy motor that was ideal for a street machine like this. Not only was it Buicks choice to modify for Grand National use, but also this one received nice upgrades, too. The motor was stroked to 4.1-liters. It inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with a sweet sound out of the custom dual exhaust. And because this is a professional build, it was done with the right supporting components, like steel-braided lines, HEI ignition, and a Walker radiator w/electric fan. As you look under the car, youll see a strong TCI chassis finished in red to match. Plus, youll spot a proper classic street machine setup with a SuperBell four-link drop axle front and ladder bars in the rear with adjustable coilovers. And its easy to enjoy showing this one off everywhere with features like the three-speed automatic transmission and front disc brakes. This comes with plenty of documentation showcase the unique story of this car. And the mileage is even believed to be all thats on this build. Rarely do you get the chance to own the example that wrote the book on how to be a great street machine. Call today!!!
