Gorgeous Paris built 1948 Citroën Traction Avant, Berline Légère, 11BL.
Finished in black with tasteful cloth interior.
André Citroën made it his mission to be at the forefront with the latest technological innovations and the Traction Avant, first introduced at the Paris Motor Show in 1934, incorporated ground breaking technology in the form of front wheel drive! This coupled with torsion bar suspension and monocoque construction made the Traction Avant the envy of the automotive manufacturing world with its superb road holding capabilities.
This car underwent a full restoration about 30 years ago and no expense was spared in doing it properly. Since then it has always been garage kept and still looks really good.
Just serviced with all fresh fluids, plugs, points, and battery.
Everything works and it drives wonderfully well and turns heads wherever it goes.
This car has been a lot of fun to drive and I shall be sorry to see it go, but it's now time for a new project.
