1975' Alfa Romeo Alfetta

A rare to find alfetta 1. 8 from his 3rd owner with known history and super low mileage.

it was sold new in barcelona by the famous dealer "motorsol s. a" to an english man with summer residence in spain, who used it with "tourist plate" just in holidays periods for many years. Then the car was unregistered since 1991 until 2005 when it was bought by alfa enthusiast.
with this 2nd owner the car received a "collector" use., so just a few kilometers by year.
the third and last owner -a known motor journalist- bought this alfa in 2012 and after a "long courting" sold it to us a few months ago.

probably one of the best alfetta first series survived : totally unrestored and still more rare :original paint all around (micrometer test is welcome)

alfisti knows how delicate are these alfetta, specially around the front and rear screens and in the front fenders.... find one without any rust sign is almost impossible.

the 1. 8 first series is the most attractive version and collectible and the colors combination of this example is the dreamed by every "alfisti".

but the real dream is the specific condition of this car: The underbody is totally clean , also in the mechanic components. The paint have some patina but is uniform and shining all around the car. The total absence of mastic or filler -characteristic of the unrestored cars- make his looks so nice and "genuine" that makes the value of difference for a classic car.
the front and rear screen still preserves the metallic corners of the first alfetta.
the rear bumper have a little defect of normal use, but totally forgivable.
engine bay have the usual stain under the battery place, surely because one battery leaks during the long inactivity period..... the rest is impeccable with all the factory stickers -not reproductions- , and even the bonnet insulation is there, also if is weared beacuse the years and the spanish sun.

the interior is best proof of low mileage, because this alfa have a minimum wear for his age.... seats, door cars, moquette , headlining dashboard... etc are really in near perfect condition... amazing for a car 45 years old.
same for trunk lining -the plastic is so delicate- that don't show one defect or broken part.
never was mounted radio and the factory blank plate is still present.... of course not holes for speakers... etc.

technically this car just received an extensive service in alfa romeo specialist (invoice of 3. 6 k eur available).
driving this alfetta means enjoy the alfa transaxle experience, with the brilliant 1750 twin cam engine and the superb handling in every road.
everything works as should down to the last detail , and also the typical alfetta defects as the difficult 2nd gear are not present on this car.

a rare chance to collect a superb example of the charismatic alfetta, in his most ambitioned version and colors combo.
