I have owned this car for twenty one years, a family favourite for weddings and club events throughout Merseyside and Ireland. Between myself and the previous owner, the car has been restored at great expense to factory specifications , mechanically and cosmetically in excellent condition, now just showing a little patina.
Running a contemporary coil conversation on a electronically balanced engine, very reliable and pleasing vintage motoring. Original registration and history back to 1960.
Possible exchange for a British Edwardian 2-3 litre needing TLC. Cash adjustment for the right car.
I have owned a 28 Clifton tourer and a Saloon, this is the best compromise of the two.
NB, following enquiries, Engine fully rebuilt (white metal and line boring by Speyer and Walker) new valves, guides, seat inserts. Gearbox and rear axel rebuilt, re-wired in armoured cable. New wings ( made by Vintage Carriages), doors re skinned and wax oiled , also now fitted with glass weather strips. Roof re-covered and new leather fold down section. Rebuilt steering box and replacement quality leather interior.
New radiator and all nickel plating renewed. Indicators and brake lights.
