1930 AUSTIN 7 ULSTER GORDON ENGLAND CUP STADIUM
GE 2 SEATER SPORT CONVERTIBLE 292 test miles since restoration
REG: WE 3375 Chassis number: 68074 Engine number: A7/ 539
This very rare convertible has coach-work by Gordon of England, who was a famous racing driver of the 1920’s and 30’s. Finished in an off-white fabric with black leather trim and black tonneau complemented by black wire wheels, running boards and mudguards. This utterly lovely and extremely rare motor car is tax and MoT exempt. Originally sold by the Austin Motor Company, Longbridge to their dealer in Holland Park, London, this car looks like it did when it left the showroom in the 1930’s. It also starts and runs with no problems at all. The restoration took place some 20 years ago by a renowned Austin marque specialist in Bradford-upon-Avon and it shows. The restoration included a new aluminium body built to the original specification and covered in off-white fabric. 6 former keepers and numbers matching.
Features include: picnic hamper, tool roll, starting handle, nickel plated grille, bakelite radiator cap fitted with an outside temperature gauge, brass dashboard dials, original steering wheel, headlights, stadium badges, adorned with the original numberplate WE 3375.

We have been led to believe that this very rare car is one of only a few built and there are maybe only about 5 genuine GE coach-built Stadiums still in existence………What an ultimate addition to a car collection or definitely stand out from the crowd among the Chummy aficionados at shows. This car would be at home in the best of Austin museums safe for all eternity.
