This rare Longbridge built car has only done 140 miles since having undergone a meticulous no expense spared restoration. Originally supplied to Rotterdam Netherlands , it has now been converted to right hand drive ( l/ h parts available ). engine gearbox and overdrive have been rebuilt. The cylinder head has been modified to run on unleaded petrol. A complete new braking system has been fitted including 3000 front discs, rear cylinders and a servo. The petrol pump and fuel lines have been replaced with new parts. New rear springs and shockers all round along with all new steering and suspension bushes. The front and rear wings and both doors have been replaced with new aluminium ones.
other new parts include , all chrome-work, badges, wiring loom, battery, lights and reflectors, horns, complete exhaust system, five tyres, hood, side screens, carpets , leather seat coverings, interior trim, etc, etc.
This is a matching number car and a step by step photographic record of the restoration is available to view.
Although mot exempt , the car has been prudently put through the process in order to verify all works carried out.
