Seller's comments about 1958' Austin-Healey 100-6

Two-seat (BN6) roadster provided as a complete project including chassis, bulkheads, front and rear shrouds, all outer panels, engine, gearbox and drivetrain and more in need of total restoration. The chassis has been blasted but does need correction on a chassis jig.
Exciting car with previous racing history believed for a many decades.
Built 16th October 1958 and originally finished in Colorado Red with Red seating and interior trim plus Black wet weather gear set. Very well specified with wire wheels (discs were standard), overdrive, laminated windscreen, heater and Roadspeed tyres.
As chassis 3676 this car would have been produced in the Abingdon factory, featured production requirements including the superior six port head with separate inlet manifold, larger HD6 carburettors, higher compression ratio and solid skirt pistons. These later cars also featured a strengthened front bulkhead and numerous other small changes to equate to a more refined car over earlier models.
