Seller's comments about 1957' Chevrolet 210

Up for auction this week: 1957 Chevrolet 210 Auction Listing

Rock-n-Roll beauty, this 1957 Chevrolet 210 is set up for show, but also ready to go at any given notice. Powered by a built 5.7L 350 V8 and fitted with a custom ICE cold A/C cooled interior, this classic has attitude and performance to match. Previously owned by a member of SKNN, a breakthrough creative force from Orlando, Florida with sounds of industrial, power pop, wave, and metal rock music.

Its safe to say that the Chevrolet Bel Air has become Americas sweetheart and one of the most recognized icons of the car world. With its elegant rear fins and anodized aluminum side trim panels, the styling remains timeless. Even though this 1957 Chevrolet is not a Bel Air, but instead a 210, it still pays tribute to those iconic aluminum sails and badging. The exterior is painted in a bright yellow finish, which helps accentuate the chrome and vintage 17-inch Billet Specialties Psycho wheels.

Under the custom louvered hood is a fully dressed-up billet and chrome 5.7L 350 V8. A polished Flame-Series billet air cleaner with a Holley 4BBL carburetor sits atop a Weiand Team-G raised intake manifold. Polished ceramic-coated long-tube headers add more visual flair along with the polished full aluminum radiator support, radiator, and dual electric fans.

Additional modern upgrades include power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes, and electric ignition. The 4-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly, and this 210 rides on the original frame rails, lowered with adjustable coil-overs on all four corners. The front subframe has been fitted with tubular control arms and a larger sway bar, while the rear features 4-link ladder bars.

One note to consider: the tires are approximately 20 years old and should be replaced for peace of mind, despite showing no visible signs of age, distress, or leaking.

The interior is custom without going over the top. Bright yellow accents and polished chrome details appear throughout the cabin. A billet half-wrapped steering wheel is mounted to a tilt steering column. This 1957 210 was completed 12 years ago and has primarily been used as a weekend show car or Sunday driver. The 4,000 miles since completion help explain how fresh and clean the interior remains. Seating has been upgraded with 1963 Chevrolet Impala front bucket seats and a rear bench, while the audio system features a clean Alpine installation.
