Seller's comments about 1979' Fiat 132
The subject of our offer is a Fiat 132 (MKIII) 1600 from 1979.
The car is in original condition, iconic blue 400, with a beige interior, version as shown in press photos or catalogues. It is a great base for renovation, the body for renovation. It drives very well, the engine is healthy, the suspension absorbs bumps nicely, and the super comfortable seats make it drive like a hovercraft. The interior is complete, the board is not cracked or broken, nicely preserved seats, air vents (like in Lamborghini Countach!), sides, doors, details, all well maintained. There are literally three things missing from the outside: the rim cap, the wheel arch moldings, and the frame of one lamp. The car spent its entire life in Italy until 2019, it has superficial rust, but the door edges and wheel arches have no holes, the sills are definitely healthier than in many cars 20 years younger. I have heard many times that it is very well preserved for a Fiat from that era (it is 44 years old). I show all dents and critical points in the photos. The first owner in Poland did the timing. It is regularly used in winter and goes on trips on nice days. At the beginning of 2023 he got a new battery. After the 2021 season, it did not smoke evenly, the plugs and cables were checked, and after replacement it works perfectly. The interior and its smell take us back to the late 1970s in a positive sense, with DOHC humming beautifully in the background. The four sun visors are impressive!
The car has a new generation of the two-shaft 1600 engine (132C.000), a fresh engine for its time with an exact capacity of 1585 cc, 98 HP, powered such valued models as 131 Supermirafiori, Delta or Ritmo 105TC and I have heard several times that it is also great engine like a "two-liter".
Versione III with the iconic "butterfly" rims, the last model before the Argenta, already has an air of the 1980s in it, which makes it look a bit more modern than its predecessors.
I found the car in 2020 for my older brother, who was excited about this model as a child, and now he has enjoyed it enough for almost two years and decided to sell it. Passionate about classics and interesting cars, I take care of his 132 and he is often at my place with my mini collection, including: Coupe quattro 20V, 280Z, 500 SL, NA, W8. Therefore, the advertisement is "courtesy" and I was asked to help with the sale.
Personally, I would recommend the same to the target buyer - drive it for a season or two, enjoy the ride and then start the bodywork renovation, the car is in good working order, so it can be easily used for this purpose.
Odometer reading: 21,951 km (I don't know how many times it circled).
The car was purchased for a company. Previously one owner in the country. Sales on VAT invoice.
