This 1966 Ford F-100 Restomod is an awesome kind of custom pickup with only about 7500 miles on the comprehensive build. It includes a powerful fuel-injected big block, four-wheel disc brakes, a fully upgraded suspension, an overdrive transmission, slick paint, and an A/C interior for an awesome total package. This truck distinguishes itself in the first impression. After all, Ford never tried something daring as black and silver at the factory. The two-tone has a luster that radiates in the sunshine, and the deleted emblems/trim and crisp sheet metal mean the light just loves to roll off the smooth panels. The whole build was completed about 7500 miles ago, and so the overall finish has an evenness that tells you its a drivers truck that knows how to be impressive. Even the 20-inch US Mags alloys were done in black to coordinate. And more than paint, they invested in classic details to make sure the chrome on the bumpers and grille is gleaming. And see that awesome-looking truck bed... Thats not real lumber, and instead, its special aluminum by Smokey Rod Shop for better all-around durability. The interior is vintage style done with a modern flair. For example, you still get a classic bench set, but it has added cushioning and is finished in supple saddle brown leather. Plus, there are great amenities like a retro-style AM/FM stereo with aux input and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. Good carpeting, nice door panels, and a smooth dash pad make it quite inviting. So this is the kind of comfortable cruiser that will have people competing to be your passenger. But the best treats are reserved just for the driver. Youll slip behind the wood and chrome steering wheel thats mounted on a tilt column. Beyond that are a full set of bright AutoMeter gauges set in the smooth dash. There was a big upgrade under the hood to Fords 460 cubic-inch big block. The V8 has the kind of clean and tidy style that tells you there was a good investment here. Plus, it has been upgraded with nice pieces for power like aluminum heads, an Edelbrock intake, roller rockers, and a hefty cam. Its supported by good components like upgraded pulleys and a full MSD ignition system. The big block is then topped with an Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 direct-port electronic fuel injection system for the best in power and consistency. The Sanderson ceramic-coated headers let the motor exhale freely as they also contribute to the thunder of the 3-inch dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. Its a powerful package, but the full idea here is to be a very street-easy cruiser. Thats why you have features like the three-speed automatic transmission with a Gear Vendors electronic overdrive kit. And as you look underneath, youll see an impressively upgraded suspension with a Heidts Mustang II independent front end and a four-link rear with coilovers. There are additional worthwhile driving upgrades like rack & pinion power steering and four-wheel power disc brakes. There have been terrific investments in this custom truck to make it easier to drive to further away car shows, and its also likely to bring home plenty of awards. So if you want all eyes on you - even on the highway - call today!!!
