Seller's comments about 1965' Ford Mustang
1965 Ford Mustang for sale.
The 289cui V8 engine was changed to a 302cui unit in the USA. The engine has been completely restored, capacity increased by changing connecting rods to shorter ones and a shaft with a larger crank.
Installed set of intake manifold + Edelbrok 4bbl carburetor.
Currently, the engine runs on Penrite 10w60 oil.
I have a full list of parts ordered for the engine and the entire vehicle (I didn't save on anything because the car was made for me)
Registered for yellow plates, but it is only in the register of monuments, not in the register (it is not subject to strict supervision of the conservator, but it authorizes you to pay ridiculous liability insurance in the amount of approx. PLN 400 for the whole year or purchase third party liability insurance for any period, an additional advantage is a perpetual technical inspection)
The car has undergone full body and mechanical renovation.
The vehicle is sandblasted, protected with the best anti-corrosion agents, painted in a color selected from the Lexus palette (the color is selected based on the Vintage Burgundy color from the Ford palette; thanks to the use of paint from Lexus, it is possible to repair it in the event of scratches, and an additional advantage is the huge amount of metallic particles in the paint). perfectly presenting the vehicle in the sun).
The chassis and roof are covered with vinyl and protected with a raptor layer.
New doors with an additional element strengthening the structure in the event of a side collision, new floor.
The gearbox and differential have been inspected and fluids changed, no problems with operation.
The interior is original, completely soundproofed with Dynacorn mat. 3-point inertia belts in body color, retrosound radio with Bluetooth function, and floor mats have been added.
All chrome details remain original and in authentic condition, just as the car was imported from the USA.
Steering system with power steering
Entire new braking system with a Wilwood disc set
New fuel system, lines, pump, float
New engine cooling system, the radiator was changed in the USA to a larger one, a liquid reservoir in a Jack Daniels bottle was added.
New alternator.
New starter.
New ignition coil.
Original licensed windshield washer system, new wipers.
New windshield with improved safety features.
New acid steel exhaust system, ending in front of the rear axle. (turns on alarms in cars parked nearby, but is not excessively loud at low speeds)
New rear suspension + front shock absorbers and springs.
New complete wiring harness with modern fuses.
A set of new American Racing torqthrust rims with summer tires and rimguard.
The vehicle is completely protected with wax on the underside, and has not been driven in rain or winter.
The car is prepared for air conditioning installations, has an internal unit, a compressor, radiators with a dryer, the only thing missing are two cables that were lost somewhere during transport from the USA. (to be installed by new owner)
