Mercedes SLC 5.0 is the most sought-after version of this iconic coupe, produced in 2,769 units. In September 1977, Mercedes-Benz launched the 450 SLC 5.0 with 240 hp, equipped with a front splitter and a rear spoiler on the trunk lid. The hood, trunk lid and bumper reinforcements are made of aluminum. It is a car with a rich rally history. The SLC 5.0 (and later the SLC 500) was the car used by Mercedes-Benz factory teams in endurance rallies, winning the overall titles in both South America and Africa.
