Seller's comments about 1971' MG MGB

The MGB GT, designed by Pininfarina, was introduced in October 1965, and can claim to be one of the earliest sports hatchbacks to go into volume production. The rear deck offers excellent luggage space with a 2+2 option and improved aerodynamics gives the GT a top speed in excess of 100mph.
We are always looking for nice MG’s and recently took this rare non-overdrive BGT in part-exchange against another Milestones car. The previous keeper owned the car for around 10 years and invested significant time & money creating a car he would happily drive anywhere.
Summary of Car (since 2012)

·  Colour Changed to Lamborghini Verde Mantis.
·  Ivor Searle Unleaded Cylinder Head

·  Brake Master Cylinder/ Wheel Cylinder
·  Front Discs & Pads

There is a nice history folder with the BGT that contains registration documents, MOT’s back to 1984, lots of invoices for expenditure over the last 30 years and interestingly, an AA Car Purchase Inspection Report on the car from 1984
The last owner, a retired engineer, always garaged the ‘B’ and she presents well - the Lamborghini Verde Mantis colour scheme really suits her and is very 1970’s
We have priced this car to sell and expect her to find a new appreciative keeper very quickly.
