This 1965 Pontiac Catalina is a low-mileage survivor right down to its well-coordinated paint. So not only does a classic like this give you a great story to tell, but also it still perfectly represents how the full-sized Pontiac V8 cars knew how to own the road. Teal Turquoise is a great 1960s color, and so it was especially kismet that it was ordered on this car. Its not only the factory-correct paint, but its also believed to be the original factory application. Not many finishes last 55+ years, but this one has thrived with very few signs of use over the past half-century. In fact, the story were told is that this one spent most of its first 30 years covered and properly stored. Thats also how you get an odometer with fewer miles than some cars built within the last few years. And a car like this 65 deserved to be preserved. Thats when the styling added even more Coke bottle curves that we all loved in this era. The front is imposing with the extra-wide chrome bumper and stacked headlights each in their own chrome pod. In the rear, the taillight panel is integrated into the stylized sweeping trim, and thats right above the nicely integrated rear bumper. The body panels, badging, wheel covers, and all the details are all part of a car that truly looks like it has been frozen in time. The sea of turquoise continues inside, and so does the exceptional overall presentation. The doors, dash, upholstery, and headliner all have a time capsule like appearance. A full-size Pontiac like this is great for space. So if family and friends dont have sticky fingers, you can invite them along to enjoy a true classic cruiser experience. There are a ton of terrific details with the working courtesy lights, bright door trim, classic arrowhead floor mats protecting the carpeting, and the AM radio thats still cranking out tunes. And youre going to love grabbing the classic translucent steering wheel. The dark inner walls of the engine bay really funnel your full attention to the bright turquoise block in the middle. The 389 cubic-inch V8 is the right spec for the era, and the stock spec leads us to believe its the original powerhouse. While this was stored for decades, it was resurrected correctly. And today it even has a newer alternator and battery. This level of care means the motor rides up eagerly and is ready to hit the boulevard. A classic like this wants to give you an unfiltered feel of the road. But it also remains a solid cruiser with features like a three-speed automatic transmission and the supple ride of a full-size machine. A survivor like this needs the right paperwork to tell its unique story. Thats why were happy to see that it comes with the original window sticker, bill of sale, warranty card, owners manual, and title documentation. Its a truly stunning full-size survivor, and so you know it wont stay here long at this price. Call today!!!
