Seller's comments about 1977' Porsche 911

This 1977 Porsche 911 Carrera is one of 1,473 3.0-liter-powered coupes built for the model year and was initially delivered in Germany. The car was reportedly imported to the US in the mid-1980s and spent time in South Carolina, where it was acquired by the seller in 2023. Subsequent work involved a repaint in the factory Ice Green Metallic along with refinishing the 16 Fuchs wheels, servicing the rear brakes, resealing the 3.0-liter flat-six, replacing the clutch, and rebuilding the five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes stainless-steel exhaust components, a fiberglass whale-tail rear spoiler, and power windows. The car left the factory in Ice Green Metallic (Y8) and was refinished under current ownership. Exterior details include a chin spoiler, body-color mirror caps, an aftermarket whale tail rear spoiler, H4 headlights, RoW rear bumperettes, and a single exhaust outlet. Fuchs 16 alloy wheels were refinished under current ownership and feature black centers and polished lips along with 205/55 front and 225/50 rear Kuhmo Ecsta tires. The ride height has been lowered, and the rear brakes were serviced in 2023 with replacement calipers, rotors, pads, lines, and sensors. The cabin houses front bucket seats upholstered in black leatherette with replacement black velour inserts, which are complemented by individual rear seats trimmed in black leatherette. Coco mats line the footwells, and the black dashboard houses controls for the power windows and defroster. The shifter assembly was overhauled in 2023. The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,600-rpm redline, a 250-km/h speedometer, a clock, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The 3.0-liter flat-six shares its die-cast aluminum housing with the contemporary Turbo Carrera and was rated at 200 horsepower when new. Work performed by Autohaus Inc. of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina under current ownership involved resealing the engine and adjusting the valves, as well as replacing the clutch, fuel pump, fuel accumulator, warm-up regulator, ignition wires, spark plugs, and engine mounts. An 11-blade fan has been added. The Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle was rebuilt by 356 Inc. of Bluffton, South Carolina in 2024, at which time the flywheel, crank pulley seal, and pressure plate were replaced. Stainless-steel exhaust components were installed under prior ownership.Contact Kennith Stewart for more informaton
