Great solid 1976 Saab 96 V4, in Topaz yellow “Summer” Just needs paint & finishing sadly got to sell.
Loads of receipts & history all laminated in a folder.
To the best of my knowledge mileage is genuine, as the history shows.
Starts on the button every time whether cold or hot. Saab specialist who checked over my work said its the sweetest V4 he has ever heard.
Full engine service done including new plugs.
Rare 1. 7 engine apparently only made for US market, all underpinnings replaced brand new springs & shocks all round. New Brake cylinders & shoes & handbrake cable. New Front discs & pads. Wheels stripped & powder coated tyres in great condition.
Engine bay stripped out bay painted & ALL hoses & clips replaced with brand new. Brand new imported inlet manifold fitted last year. All new distributor/ rotor arm & coil plug leads & new old stock fuse box with electrics under the bonnet checked & renewed as required.
Heater box & all casings media blasted & powder coated to match Rocker covers also restored the same.
Gearbox & freewheel works as it should. Unleaded conversion done by previous owner.
Jetex exhaust, & heat wrapped pipes to inlet manifolds.
All in all great solid project that just needs the final push to finish, sad to see “Summer” go but need the space.
Pair of rear wings included (you can see damage to OSR in pics).
No silly offers over 4k spent so far to get to this stage.
Would need to be trailered away.
