This original RHD Manual with Overdrive Triumph Stag was built on the 26th March 1974 and left the factory in New White with Black upholstery equipped with laminated windscreen, hard top, and European spec lights. The car was supplied in RHD for the export market, heading to Switzerland when brand new. The Stag was driven regularly in Solothurn, Switzerland on the foot of the Weissentein Jura mountains until it was laid up in very original condition in 1989 with a mileage of 17800 km’s.From 1989 to 2015 the Stag was dry stored and was then subject of a re-commissioning program that was completed in 2016. The engine was overhauled and the car then left Switzerland for Germany where it has spent several years with one of our clients. On arrival in the UK, around £3000 has been spent on pre-sale preparation work to include a full service and various detailed improvements. PWC 108K presents a remarkably original, well presented example that would be ideal for regular use. The Triumph V8 engine holds very good oil pressure and sounds superb, the four speed with overdrive gearbox is a delight to use and with power steering, recently serviced brakes, the car feels lovely on the road. The nicely aged paintwork is of a good standard, the car comes with its original hard top and brightwork is in good order. The Stag presents very well with recently painted Rostyle style wheel trims, correct period number plates and a lovely, largely original upholstery.
