V. w. type 2 rolling chassis adapted for an air-cooled 6 cylinder porsche engine. In storage for over 10 years.
# removable engine mount, allowing easy engine removal without jacking. # 1974 porsche 2. 7 s engine ( piston ring failure on one piston/ cylinder & run a main @ 1, 000 miles. I have imported a 1976 7R case( u. s 911S with oil mod.) & crankshaft. early fan (245mm) & early k-jet fue linjection (had new injectors, cold start valve, pop off valve, nrv for servo), early turbo (forged front) oil pump, seems o. k a bit ugly on the outside. # harry harpic front axle, dropped spindles, 944 discs(not seized), had new ball joints, damper, draglink etc. # harry harpic "evo" rear trailing arms (camber/ tracking) still adjustable. # creative eng. Porsche rear hubs. 911 driveshafts. # gaz shock absorbers, gaz coilovers/ shock. On front. # had new brakelines, wheel cylinders/ master and brake linings. # modified fuel tank (por 15 coated/ new fuel sender) for fuel injection. # 5 x design 90 porsche wheels. # new bosch fuel pump + a6 bullet fuel filter. # mocal oil stat/ porsche 3. 2 oil cooler/ + fan/ sportomatic oil tank. # porsche gauges. # 2 x type 925 sportomatic semi-automatic gearboxes. # bits & pieces etc old petrol tank, old engine case, vw westfalia camper has most of its interior icluding overhead folding bed. dinky seat. mosquito net, rear overhead cupboard( a little tatty). had been undersealed and still holding up, body o. k. With many new parts (tig), new front doors were fitted with quarterlights. Requires new window rubbers allround & a little fab work possibly n/ s under front windscreen & maybe window behind drivers door, requires respray (2-pack at present). requires awning. requires some electrical tidying up (new looms in engine comp. lights & engine), requires some t. l. c. if running a manual 915, etc. Gearbox will require a used clutch pedal (somewhere like - details above -no big deal to fit.) for the clutch operation.
