Rare Austin Seven Opal with original 1937 Registration number EPL 82 with V5C log book owned privately by myself the current owner since 2013, with four previous owners. I purchased her with a means to restoring her over the years – this totally original vehicle now has 5 new Avon tyres and a new hood and side screens professionally fitted, it also has a new 6 volt battery. The car is usable just as it is and is a fabulous investment!
The car and its full mechanical history has been fully assessed and checked by two Austin Seven Specialists for safety in the New Forest for £530 and it does not require an MOT. and is 100% fine. However It is in need of a a complete blue and black respray for the main body and wings and new running boards and rubbers await to be fitted – I would prefer the number to be retained with the car to retain complete originality although it could be transferred by its new owner if absolutely necessary. All the lights, horn, trafficators, windscreen wiper are in working order and the interior is complete except for a few studs to secure the hood and I don’t have those as yet,. The car drives superbly, is fun to drive and is a real eye catcher I am asking 75,000 pounds for it and will NOT take any offers for this fabulous little classic car, but will enclose a recently servised custom made trailer for an Austin Seven that has 5 ten inch wheels fitted with new trailer tyres as well. If I fail not sell this time around I will complete all the final restoration myself and keep it. I own two other Austin Sevens and a Rare Edwardian German Phanomobil Tri Car circa 1910 and the latter takes preference at the moment! £125,000 Private Sale -Telephone the details below Bournemouth area of Dorset.

The Opal was launched as a companion car to the Ruby and was part of the Jewell Series including the Pearl and has very similar characteristics with the same front and the rear bodywork differing to the extent of the car being a two seater tourer with a square design of rear end providing good scope for storage behind the seats with screens stored in the doors
The Opal was the first £100 Austin. Production ceased in 1939 and only around 100 survivors are believed to exist making this now a very rare car.
