Take home a piece of Ford history with this 1931 Ford Model A Sedan. This Yellow Cab turns heads as it cruises down the road. I have owned this car for a few years. The plan was to use it with a B&B I was creating. After a lot of thinking decided not to do the B&B, so I don't need the car. We planned on taking people back and forth from the B&B to downtown areas. It runs great.. This Model A has a clean curb appeal with its sharp two tone yellow and black paint with yellow wire wheels. The interior matches with a tan/brown cloth. The paint and interior are overall in great shape with some minor blemishes. The fabric on the ceiling and walls should be replaced. That is the only thing that hasn't been done.
The Model A paved the way for mass produced vehicles. By the end of the run, Ford had produced almost 5 million Model A's. These vehicles could be purchased in a variety of body styles. From sporty roadsters to industrial trucks, the platform was extremely versatile. There is seating for 4 and plenty of windows for airflow. Under the hood is a simple flat head 4-cylinder engine that is original. It uses a 3-speed manual transmission and transfers power to the rear axle. This car is not a speed machine, but it is a lot of fun to drive around town. In fact when we went to pick it up, people were stopping us asking if they could take a picture in front of it. The car fires up nicely and runs and drives like it should. This Model A is road ready and has a lot of life left.
