The restoration was commenced in 2006 and completed in 2011, representing some five years of painstaking work and an investment of approximately £75, 000.The restoration was undertaken with considerable attention to both authenticity and mechanical quality. The car was stripped and subjected to a bare metal respray, while the extensive timber bodywork was carefully restored.
