Very rare, 1/2 ton 1946 Dodge WC with roll down canopy, red and black exterior, oak bed, oak headliner. In Ohio. or best offer.A letter from the Chrysler Corporation Corporate Historian states: I have enclosed selected pages from the 1941 Sales Brochure showing the WC 1/2 ton canopy. The W Series was built virtually unchanged from 1941 through 1947.We do not have records on production of trucks by body/style or the prices but the Canopy was used for such things as door to door delivery of produce, any delivery requiring access from the side of the body and yet have protection from the weather etc.
