1936 Austin Seven Special with light weight 'doped fabric' body with detachable tail section. The body can accommodate a 6ft driver and is fitted with a nice set of period instruments including Jaeger Rev Counter driven via the 12V dynamo from the bottom of the distributor.

The Engine is 2 bearing and fitted with steel timing gears, 'Pigsty' trials cam, Phoenix crank, high compression pistons, lightened flywheel and fully balanced. The block has been adapted to 10std and the cylinder head is a desirable '37' which has been skimmed. The special is fitted with an SU carb and modified genuine 'Nippy' sports inlet manifold with a 'bunch of bananas' exhaust.

The gearbox is fitted with Rawson Close Ratio gears and the remote gear change is a rare early Cambridge Engineering unit. The rear axle is a 5.25 CWP and 17inch wheels.

The chassis is a modified LWB with bowed front axle and flattened springs. An additional longitudinal chassis member has been installed to strengthen the front cross member.

The car currently has a VSCC Buff form as a 'Special' which would need to be reapplied for if the new owner is a member.

The special has a low centre of gravity so handles well and accelerates quickly due to the gearing. Great fun to drive with lots more potential.

The car will be sold with paper templates and tail buck used to make to the body and pictures of the rebuild.

Under separate negotiation I have 5No rebuild 17inch Wheels fitted with Avon SM MK2 tyres with minimal use for competition.
