Seller's comments about 1955' Chevrolet 3100

SWEET FIRST GEN 1955, FIVE WINDOW, SHORTBED, AUTOMATIC, FIRES RIGHT UP! It is rare to find one of these under $20k. If you like it, let us know. This girl isnt going to last long. Check out the full video inspection and call Erick

Paint/Body: Really cool shop truck. The paint has a consistent patina all the way around. The body lines are straight. There are dings and dents on the body, a couple of pops, some rust but nothing major. Hinge pockets are clean. Bottom of the doors look good. Doors open and close like an old truck but latch well.
Interior: The inside has been redone in a shop truck fashion. She has new floor pans and new seat cover. The original dash is uncut. The doors are in good condition but do not have door panels. The gas tank has been moved to under the bed.
Glass/Windows: All the glass is in great condition. The windows roll up and down well.
Trunk/Bed: She has a new wood bed that looks nice. There are some dents and chips from being used but over all a clean bed. Great opportunity to be creative, making the new wood look cool or just leaving it as it is.
Undercarriage: The underneath is not perfect but is in good shop truck condition. No rust on the frame. The Firebird front end and the Camaro rear end are both welded in well and look good. The cap corners have a few little holes. The under of the step sides have a couple little spots of rust. The floor pans are clean and fender wells look good. Overall a minimal rust truck.
Wheels/Tires: Brand new matching tires on older rally wheels.
Mechanical
Drivetrain: This girls got a LS engine and transmission swap from a 2000s model GMC Yukon 5.3. The front end is from a 79 Firebird and the rear is end is off a 96 Camaro. She fires right up and sounds mean. Lots of power, drives straight down the road. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly through all gears
Lights/Electrical: Headlights, taillights, brake lights and rear turn signals are all hooked up and functioning. LED headlights in the front. Gauges are not currently working. Wipers are also not hooked up.
Brakes: Power brakes stop straight and strong.
Power Options: Power front disc brakes and power steering. Both work great!
