Seller's comments about 1966' Ferrari 330

Presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1966, the Ferrari 330 GT/C is an excellent representative of the Modena brand's first Grand Turismos. Direct ancestor of models such as the 550 Maranello or the 812 Superfast, the 330 is an evolution of the first 250 and 275 today valued at over 7 figures!
The Colombo V12 engine is also an evolution of the engine used in the famous 250 GTO. Designated Type 209/60, with 4 liters of displacement, it has the help of three Weber carburettors to reach 300 HP and the fifth gear only runs out after 240 km/h!
The dynamic behavior was truly stunning for the time, as the chassis, with independent suspension and Girling discs on all 4 wheels, was derived directly from the competition!
This 330 GT/C, with chassis number ‘9189’, is the 88th unit of 597 produced and was delivered to its first owner in December 1966, in England.
It retains its original color – Grigio Argento Metalizzato – with Flora Nero leather interior. It was configured at the time with some notable options, such as 14' Borrani wheels, York air conditioning and electric windows.
It underwent a complete restoration at the beginning of the new millennium and has been part of a private collection in Portugal since 2007. It recently received a fully documented mechanical and aesthetic refresh. The interior was completely upholstered with original leather and new soundproofing carpets. The rims were repaired, with new spokes, in Italy, in Borrani workshops and fitted with new Michelin XVS tires.
It is delivered with a FIVA certificate, manuals, inspection history and complete restoration and maintenance documentation, including photographic records and invoices.
