1950' Ford F-4

ORIGINAL LOW MILES, MATCHING NUMBERS, RUST FREE EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION! This truck fires right up and drives strong down the road. So much potential for a tap truck, farm truck or delivery vehicle for any kind of business. We are excited to see who gets this one and what it becomes!
COSMETIC
Paint/Body: Originally a fire or forest truck, it has been kept in awesome shape, always stored in doors. It sat in army surplus for a decade before being restored. Very straight body. Great paint. No rust anywhere. Vinyls on the doors are cool looking but can easily be removed or replaced.
Interior: The recent restoration included the interior where it was keep original looking but has new headliner, floor mat, cab lining, door panels and dash decals. Great looking upholstery on the seat has just one small tear on the drivers side. Very sharp interior that matches the beautiful originality of the exterior.
Glass/Windows: Windows are in great condition! Some bubbling on the vent glass which may indicate it being original glass or at least very old. The windows roll up and down very easily! All the weather stripping is in great shape!
Trunk/Bed: Wood bed is in great shape. The current owner used this truck for beer taps at local events, the taps can be removed easily or can be used for any kind of beverage that can be put in a keg. The underneath is solid with no rust! Diamond plate added to the back of the bed.
Undercarriage: You have to check out the underneath of this truck! Beautiful with no rust anywhere on all the original frame, cab corners, fenders, or floor pans. It's rare that we get to say rust free vehicle!
Wheels/Tires: Bias ply tires are older but have great tread.
MECHANICAL
Drivetrain: Flat head V8 engine rebuilt by the previous owner. 4 speed manual transmission shifts through all gears. Upgraded to a 12 volt system, everything else is original. We were told with its history of being used as a forestry truck then sitting in surplus that the 04288 miles on the odometer is accurate. The engine is tuned in just right and purrs like a kitten!
Lights/Electrical: Headlights, taillights, brake lights and turn signals are all functional. The speedometer, battery gauge, temp gauge and oil pressure gauge are all working. Windshield wipers are original vacuum and still work.
Brakes: Manual brakes stop straight and strong. Emergency brake is hooked up and working
