Its time for some serious old-school hot rod fun. This 1931 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup utilizes real Henry steel as a base to make for a very cool and custom open street machine. Matte black is always fun. It sets the tone for an old-school kind of build where we instantly expect some extra attitude. The dark paint makes it easy to pick up on the multi-colored airbrushed graphics package along the profile and on the tailgate. The suspension components and wheels offer an extra splash of color as the red coordinates with the graphics and pinstriping. There are more custom hot rod details, like the Chevy grille, Plymouth lights, Super Bell drop axle front end, and a more aggressive stance with the wheel size at 14/15-inch front/rear. And if you look closer, you can also see they subtly integrated upgrades to be a better cruiser. The fuel tank is under the bed instead of the cowl; a classic tail light was used to mount a third brake light on the rear of the cab; and it even comes with the right brackets so you can tow it behind another vehicle. Just like the exterior, the thoughtfulness is in the clean simplicity. The clean white paint shows off plenty of red accents. And there are cool/classic details like a Zenith radio (for display) and US Army trainer aircraft seats. And when you sit down, you also see a practical side that isnt found in many other hot rods. Features like the proper turn signals, seatbelts, and a nice feel to the Plymouth steering wheel have a nice sensibility. The red and white style extends to the engine bay. It makes for a stylish way to display the powerhouse. This is a 2.0-liter motor borrowed from a 1980s Ford Ranger, and it fits with this pickups theme of providing rear driver appeal. Its a long-standing Ford powerhouse known for being hardy and versatile. So it doesnt growl as loud as a flathead V8, and instead, it just feels useful and in control. The same feeling goes for the five-speed manual transmission. And there are other good driving features like modern touring tires, front disc brakes, and rear coilovers. This is the steel-bodied thoughtful build youve been looking for. So dont let this opportunity slip away. Call today!!!
