1963' Land Rover Series 2

This vehicle has been owned for over 30 years by myself and has been driven on a daily basis for commuting to work. This vehicle has never been off road since new chassis has been fitted. Tax and mot exempt but mot’d till September. galva
nised chassis with removable cross member wax oiled inside chassis and around outriggers also door pillars. It has a 2 1/ 4 petrol engine which has been converted by tinley tech to also run on lpg. The engine, gearbox and fairy overdrive is in good running order. Bulkhead solid, all panels are straight apart from the odd mark on front near side wing which can be seen on photo’s, new front floor pans, rock sliders, parabolic springs with poly bushes fitted, freewheeling hubs, new petrol tank also wax oiled. New electronic ignition, coil and battery, new exhaust fitted with stainless steel 2” bore back box, black modular 8x16 wheels, 265x75x16 BF Goodrich mud terrain tyres, rear wheel carrier which drops down with tailgate, series 3 wing mirrors, electric radiator fan, Dixon & bate tow hitch, but never been used for towing. Brand new radiator, new full tilt canvas hood (made by undercover covers). the paint work is showing its age but hence i’m not trying to hide anything. Unknown true mileage. Overall a good solid land rover which will last for many more years to come. A very reluctant sale.
