Seller's comments about 1968' Land Rover Series 2

Fully rebuilt / restored / modified by previous professional mechanic to an extremely high standard (he runs his own garage / classic car restoration business), this is a credit to him and is now a very useable classic in better than new condition. This is not the usual scruffy amateur conversion as can be seen from the photos. I will attempt to list the spec here:

Colour: Land Rover Mid Grey
Engine: 3. 9 V8
Transmission: Santana LT85, 5 Speed Box. Ashcroft centre differential conversion, Salisbury rear axle
Suspension: Standard Land Rover 1 Ton parts
Wheels: Deep Dish 1 Ton rims, with Michelin XL 900 16 tyres as fitted to 1 Ton Land Rovers originally
Brakes: Front Zeus disc brake conversion / Rear - Early Land Rover 90
Steering: Power Steering, Range Rover P38 steering box
Chassis: Original Chassis, professionally modified and repaired and the professionally powder coated.
Electrics: Standard Series Land Rover loom, Starter & Alternator are standard Discovery 1 V8
I have a file full of receipts and history for this vehicle which will come with it.
I think the pictures speak volumes... This is a great Land Rover, and so much fun to drive. It turns heads everywhere it goes. Serious interest welcomed
