Seller's comments about 1949' Lincoln Cosmopolitan

This 1949 Lincoln is a project car. The Cosmopolitan Town Sedan is one-of-a-kind, as 1949 was the.only year that Lincoln (or Ford for that matter) built a car with the fast back look. Only 7,302 were made, so this is a rare find.
The following projects are what I have completed on this car:
* Completely rebuilt 337 ci V-8 flathead engine, including balanced crankshaft, new pistons, new rings, and new valves. $2000
* Overdrive as part of the drive train was examined and declared ready
* New engine mounts installed
* Brand new wiring harnesses for entire car from Rhode Island Wiring, with detailed instructions for connections. $2800
* Obtained new (NOS) and re-chromed bright work for hood and rear deck, as well as bumpers, inside door handles, window cranks, and exterior door handles. $3000
* Restored, cleaned, and sealed original radiator and gasoline tank (21 gallons) $400
* New exhaust system and muffler. $400
* New brake lines installed. $150
* Replaced generator with alternator while maintaining the same generator look.(Purchased from Genernator for $900)
* New front disc brakes from Jamco $450
* Restored hydraulic system installed for electro-mechanical windows and front seat, including all new lines and hydraulic cylinders for doors and floor.
* Replaced front floor pan on both driver's and passenger's side
* Complete set of Chassis, Parts, and Service Manuals, along with original brochures for exterior paint color. $200<
I had bought this car 5 years ago, but had back surgery 4 years ago, making it much more difficult to complete. My intent was to restore this car to a drivable car for showing at local car shows. I retained the 6-volt electrical so as to show what the original car would look like coming off the showroom floor in 1949. I have most of the parts as well as vendors names for other parts.
